No in the end its still basically VGA, it the quality might look a little better if you are using a high end monitor, but in the end all you are doing is just converting it to fit DVI.
Well, you can use the adapter to get from VGA to DVI of course.
But the output cant get better than it is, so in the end it will still be VGA..
Might even be worse after it went trough the adapter...
