The only time i have heard about anyone having difficulty is if they did an upgrade to win 7 from Vista and where it can go into the dreaded endless loop cycle.
However a fresh custom install of windows 7 not one iota of a problem so not sure wha...
i guess that u werent lucky..installation went perfect for me and it did ask me for a key O.o
0 details, just complaining.
I did an in-place upgrade from vista home premium 32-bit to the same 7 version, worked fine..
did ask me for my key.
Generally they can also be geuine (Key is already activated on installation)
hmm there shouldn't be any problems if you properly prepped your drive before the os install

Yeah, that is a good way to put it. I'm also running an 'alternatively obtained' Win7 on my MacBook.
Hey - I didn't need to even enter a serial key and it runs perfectly (Ultimate, 32bit).

How much detail do you want. If you HAVE to phone up MS to activate the W7 install that is 1. A pain in the frickin ass.

I've used all the major virtual machine packages since 1998. I love Vmware and it has long been the best overall, but since Sun obtained Virtual Box they have improved it greatly and I really enjoy using that just as much as Vmware now and yes it'...
virtual box is an early solution for those who do not want to pay for a virtual machine........outside of the joke vm built into win7 otherwise known as xpm
If you had a PC that would be a non issue. Just replace the motherboard and there are plenty to choose from. Apple . Uh Uh. Buy a new machine.
Or if you want even faster than firewire 800Mb as on a Mac get ESata dirt cheap for a PC. 3GB ain't too...

Dudley Moore starred in this movie about the d00d named Arthur. He stood to inherit something like 879 million $ but family was gonna disown him cause he partied too much. In one scene, he was a bit like 3 sheets in the wind (blitzed as usual) and had a top hat on and looked much like your picture.
I have done a lot of work in Canada, mostly Ontario, Alberta, some in Quebec. I always enjoyed the folks I met and thought they had a great sense of humor. cheers.
