its the fastest browser around, though its a give and take..... they give you speed, but then they take away customization, such as the google tool bar and the like. either that or they've hidden how to make such things usable.

Hi, you have been on here for a while now but I do not remember seeing you until now. Did you use another avatar? Just for fun, I put up the one I am using now.

Do you mean read what I write in blogs or comments? I have a blog on Word Press that is doing well as far as people reading them. It has only been there for a couple of weeks. I wrote one today.

I see that you want to be a writer. Are you now? Your writing is good. My style of writing isn't for everyone since I am a southern woman who writes with a slant. ha ha..I am afraid that we came to late in life. Books are soon to be something of the past I fear. Certainly wish not.

Thanks. I truly do appreciate what you said. If you would like, you can check out my blog. Bloggie, bloggie site. ha ha

Digsby

For those of you who don't know... Digsby is a multi-protocol chat client, (IE you can use it to access icq, msn, yahoo, gtalk, aim, as well as myspace twitter facebook, and various email accounts as well.)

Digsby came under fire yesterday from an unfair, pejorative blog post on life hacker.... and just so I can't be accused of being one sided.. here is the link. http://lifehacker.com/5336382/digsby-joins-the-dark-side-uses-your-pc-to-make-money

Now, for the other side..... this was -my- respo… Continue

Windows Vista, and Voice Dictation

All right ladies and gentlemen, I do believe it's time for another sermon from the Wheelie Knight. Now, if you've been following along you'll be aware because I've said it before, but for those of you just tuning in let me repeat myself I am a fan of Windows Vista. Now before you begin shouting I am quite aware that I may be a rarity among the flock, but I have been quite fond of Vista ever since I caught my first sight of it on my wife's machine over a year ago. I liked the way it looked and I… Continue

The Death of the Dragon

A year ago, on my last birth day in fact, I was gifted with a brand new in the box copy of Dragon Naturally Speaking 9.5 as a prized gift. It was very prized in fact, not only because I happen to be a self proclaimed geek, and love the idea of talking to my computer, and having it respond, as in such classics as Star Trek, but also, because at the time, I was suffering from a rather painful case of rotater cuff tendinitis, and found my self rather unable to type. This year, when I was happily un… Continue

Gift of giving

Chris is giving three different $500 gift packs, Family Games, Star Wars, and Lego. http://chris.pirillo.com/2008/12/15/receiving-the-gift-of-giving/

It took me quite a bit of thinking before I finally decided which pack I would request. Both of my kids are star wars addicts, even though the youngest is only 5, and I knew my family would enjoy the Family Game Night Package, but there was so much in there that because of my various disabilities I would not be able to take part in. True we would… Continue
