Well no wonder it wasn't fast, the G4s came out around 2002! Also they used PowerPC processors, which are very slow compared to the Intel Core 2 Duos being used now.

I've heard tell that Leopard runs fairly smooth, even on the old G4's (which are beautiful). However, I'd stick with Tiger if it isn't going to be your main computer, just because it'll probably run that bit better on an older system. Bare in mind t…
