- If you look up a video called "8 intel cores faster than 16 amd cores!" It shows a video of how fast intel really is, but it's an older video so don't be suprized at what's on it :)

- Ok yesterday I was surfing the web and I came across a live feed of intel showing off there hyper thread running on a core i7 which in the bios was set to 8 ghz using some watercooling and hyper thread running.

- Yea but intel quad cores will easily push 8ghz which basically makes it cheaper than 2 quad cores, and that's just by adding threads :)

- Have you heard of hyperthreading? It basically turns a quad core into an 8 core by adding 1 ghz to each core to add a thread. Intels newest quad core, 8 ghz!
