The only thing sadder than your actually thinking that you have the right to return a game console for a full refund simply because you didn't like one game, is the fact that Chris Pirillo would feature your totally unjustified rant in his news lett…
For real basic documents, try Abiword (freeware). I never do anything more complicated than a personal letter, and Abiword will even save to and open MS Word docs.
I wasn't "telling" you what to do, just offering a suggestion. What ever your choice, please consider becoming a part of the solution, as opposed to part of the problem.
Adoption attorneys are great in my opinion (as opposed to "ambulance chasers").
Geekless and Trucker,
I understand where you're coming from. Those of us who have worked hard and contributed all of our lives do need help sometimes. Most of us working stiffs probably have paid our fair share of taxes and then some.
As for the p…
I agree it's great to have as many communication avenues as possible. I'm just a little old-fashioned I suppose. I still have no need for cell phone texting in general, and seldom use more than 100 minutes of air time monthly (usually due to my 9yo…
I appreciate your feedback on my blog. I don't think you quite get the purpose of what I am going to be using twitter for. I had a lot of parents last year that use the net and use facebook and things like that. Twitter would be a great way for me to update them during the week. I send home a weekly newsletter but this would be more like a daily thing for those that have internet and use it it all the time. I realize not all parents do this but those that do would have an advantage. Other parents would still get notes and calls. I play on using it for things like....Don't forget to wear sneakers for PE tomorrow! and Our farm field trip is going to be on whatever date. Things like that. I don't need to email parents all the time because I don't always want long responses full of questions. I don't have that kind of time. Twitter is supposed to be a quick thing because of a lack of time. Does that make sense?
Thanks for the comments, on my blog. Well stated facts you had, and well put. Thanks for your friendly comments, I don't think I could taken another grumpy*** :) . I really am an easy guy to get along with, that guy just had his so far up his ass that he couldn't see the light. I commented further on this guy on my wifes blog, which if interested you can get to from my page.
Ron asked me last night if we could just agree to disagree and drop it, then first thing this morning he's posting more BS, then goes on to quote me and says I have no right to defend myself or explain. He kinda opened the door on this one, and got what he deserved.
But I have to tell you one thing, I had fun debating with him, I haven't laught as much about someone in such a long time.
Anyways, Thank You, and I look forward to hearing more from ya.
Hi Old Fart! (As one old fart to another). Under "what makes you laugh" I couldn't agree with you more, a funny lot they are, witout a clue.
Nice gun. I dont have my collection anymore, but my Son took over where I left off, he has about 6 or 7 various cannons, inluding a Winchester 300 Mag. sniper rifle.
Hi : ). You know, I don't really consider myself a "Browncoat", though I've been to lots of events, own all of the correct media, and even have a Serenity necklace and such. The Grrr Argh predates all of that for me, as I was a big Buffy fangirl, and needed an online name off the top of my head!
