The Eagles did do a song titled Ä Horse With No Name.
But when I try to get it from the playlist site, everyone who has it has the name America in front of it. Yet, the search comes up as the Eagles and America.
The Eagles are singing it but the name is by America.
What is with that?
This is who I was trying to remember.
I think one of the reasons that I like Celine so much is because I sort of fell in love or lust with a guy when The Power of Love was popular.
You know what that does to a person. hee hee

Yep, women singers today are like cookie cutters with the exception of this one country chick who sing hard country music. It is a bit too country for me....no, Wilson I think is her last name.
Anyway, I heard a song by Celine Dion one day and her voice was so pure that I thought it was Streisand.
Hey, there is some good that can be found in all types of music.
My time zone is Central Standard Time. I am not sure about the world time. I did have that on my browser. Alas no longer.
My favorite female singer? That would be a hard one to answer. Faith Hill has out some great songs as does Celine Dion but my all time would have to be the clear marvelous voice of Barbara Streisand. It would be hard to find a singer with a purer voice.
When we only listen to oldies, we miss some great music. Thing is, I have a hard time knowing who is who.
I know what you mean about grandchildren being the joy of your life. I love my 2 girls more than anything. But my older one is almost a teenager and already has that attitude. Ugh!
Music is so soothing for the soul once we find what we like. I too love the Doobie Brothers and the Eagles. In fact, back in the day, the Eagles were considered rock but now as a friend pointed out, it is more like country.
OK, learn to take a compliment. Just smile real big next time and say, "well, thank you dear." :)
