Thank You for response. I do not have an old pc that is not in use. I am just seeing if I can get one to do free nas because it would be so much cheaper but I am not opposed to buy one.

google "freenas" maybe you can make ur own with 4 wd black labels from newegg and a sd card and usb card reader ( 15$ for all ) and a old POS computer you have laying around.
its not too hard and there are alot of videos and tutorials.
