Why do you consider yourself a geek?

Professional AV Systems Engineer and audiophile. I actually prefer talking to electronic devices. They do what I tell them to, and if they do not, I can take them apart and make them comply. Now if I could only invent a mechanical boyfriend that was equally easy to control. (Flip a switch when I am in the mood and switch it off when I am not. Of course, we must have settings for intensity. :D Dont worry guys, I am not serious. I am just creating this little borg implant especially for you. You will hardly notice it, you just wear it like a bluetooth that you cannot remove.

What are your "geeky equipment" specs?

Renkus Heinz PA system with P3500, P2950 2 channel Amps, 4 RH SR5 Speaker cabinets each with 12" complex Conic horn and 12" LF Driver, Numark DM1295 Mixer, Tangent 802 mixer, RH X-220 active loudspeaker management system, numerous PC, Laptop and Control systems, some Crestron gear. Still have my old Atari 7200, Atari Jaguar, Atari Jaguar CD, Intellivision, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Sega 32x, Sega Saturn, Nintendo NES, Super NES, N64, Playstation, TurboGrafix, and a vast collection of controllers, interfaces and games for each.

Night club owner

Comedy, comedians, and end users

What is the thing in life you treasure most?

knowledge and the ability to learn and overcome obstacles and challenges

What's the geekiest thing you've ever done?

Had a situation where a major oil company wanted to use a single High Definition video conferencing system in a conference room shared by two separate companies. despite my coworkers and the manufacturers insistence that it was impossible to do this with a single unit, I made it work automatically and seamlessly saving the customer over $15,000 and providing them with a fantastic control system in the process. The project was worth in the six figures and the customer a major corporation with far more projects on the horizon.

What do you do to entertain yourself?

Play video games, mix music, dance my @$$ off and go shopping,.
