get fucked Försvarets Radio Anstalt! we don't want to live in a big brother society and that's pretty obvious, but no the government doesn't listen to the people anymore.. too bad =/
Cause I know stuff that won't help me a bit getting through life, like the laws of relativity and superstring theory.. but also stuff like Quenya (elvish) and my own invented language..
How did you find out about our Geek community?
I was watching Chris Pirillo on youtube
What are your "geeky equipment" specs?
As I'm only 17 years old I have limited funds. Though I have an iPhone, that would probably be my geekiest possesion.
But here goes:
It's a Hackintosh running Leopard atm, will upgrade to snow leopard when I can.. AMD Athlon X2 3.2GHz standard Overclocked to 3.5GHz, when I need power I have compressor cooling and clocked to 4.0GHz, plans on getting liquid nitrogen or helium if I can afford it.
ATI HD3870 GPU overclocked to 1GHz and memory to 2.7GHz
2xCorsair Ultra 1Gb DDR2 clocked to 700MHz. 2x osX 2Gb ddr2 clocked to 700mhz
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Space Engineer
What makes you laugh?
The most
What is the thing in life you treasure most?
Music
What's the geekiest thing you've ever done?
I think that would be constructing a railgun.. that is a linear electromagnetic accelerator using Lawrentz's forces.. took me ages to get it to work but I did fire a screw in 16.9 m/s weeey! but the geeky thing is probably that i did it on my own when I was 13.. I've also built a half functional fuel cell.. (it blow up) and alot of thermite so I guess i'm more kind of an engineering geek than computer geek
Games: pretty much everything from Blizzard
Other than that it's really the music i care of.. I play alot of metal on the guitar, Dragonforce, Hammerfall and Disturbed.. but also just simple rock.. everything goes actually.. currently I'm trying to play the solos in Through the Fire and Flames.. hard one though..
I really love the book serie Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer, they're great and recommended!
I also collect Warhammer (40k as well) I actually won a tournament once...
Of course I'm a big fan of Chris Pirillo and all the shows from James Rolfe
