Who might I be?:

I'm a junior at CMAVTS in the lil old town of Bloomsburg, PA. I'm into music, computers, electronics, physics, stuff that blows your mind. Same old same old. I express myself through my work, what I design and build from scratch. I'm currently working on a robot to play a piano which you can view at robot.bloomserv.com . Once it's complete I will program it to play Imagine by John Lennon because that song has effected me greatly and, I believe, made me a better person. I can be very insightful if you ask the right questions or introduce the right subjects.

Okay, some new things about me. I've begun my entry into the position as project coordinator on a lot of things, but I also work along side people. I love having fun with friends in and out of school. I am currently swamped with work so I may start to lose communication with some people, but I'll try my best to keep up with this site. I am currently heading up the development of two robots, designing a new one of my own, and starting to develop a project with a friend from school. There's that and the fact that I'm competing on a potentially national level for Electronics Technology in SkillsUSA and have joined the National Honor Society. So yeah, I've gotten a little busy. I hope I can keep in touch with everybody.

Here's a list of sites I run/host/participate on:

It's going to be a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

For once in my life since I discovered the truth about "Santa" I am actually looking forward to this great holiday season! Life has kind of switched around for me. I am no longer my own worst enemy, I've lost weight, met my true love, lost many of my fears, and obtained a great amount of ambition. I finally feel as if I have a reason to live!

So to all of my fellow geeks; literature, gaming, hardware, science, history, mathematics, programming, artistic, etc; may you too ave a very merry Christ… Continue

My personal philosophy and how it came to be.

Okay, here comes a big ole post on how I've become myself.

Let's start with religion since when I gave up on it I started my real life. I gave up on religion at a young age feeling that it wasn't for me, the answers weren't thorough. I drifted through my meaningless existence for quite some time feeling that there was no answer that would ever satisfy my quest. Then I hit this amazing turning point during the 7th grade, I found The Beatles.

Now those of you who know me will see that and puke s… Continue

Hardware geeks, who am I?

Ello and welcome to another Bits Byte production!

I'll just leave the intro at that and move on to the matter at hand.

For years the mystery of what exactly a hardware geek is. Some like to keep it simple and very broad by saying it's a person who studies computer hardware and how it's used in a computer. I, well let's just say it's not so simple.

When I think computer geek I place the bar quite a bit higher. I do this basically so that I am The hardware geek at my school. I view hardware gee… Continue

Daily life of me.... little play on words

Ok, I'll make this short and simple.

I wake up
I curse at my clock
I get a shower
I brush my teeth
I walk out the door with my zune blasting
I'll pray for an empty seat on the bus because people piss me off in the morning
I won't find an empty seat so I'll sit with a quiet person
I'll walk through the halls of my old school, go outside and wait for my next bus
That damn bus will arrive 10-15 minutes late
I'll arrive at my new school, which I prefer over the old one
I will proceed to sleepwalk t… Continue

The Winning Days are Gone.

In life we all have our "winning days" when everything seems great and we can't be beat. The most of us will hit that slump. Nothing works the way it should, it seems like the world is out to get you. It's easy to look at this situation and say "oh well", forget about it, and hope someday it'll change again. That probably won't get you too far though, I'm sorry to say. What needs to be done is for you to get out there and fix the situation for yourself.

If you cruise around youtube and find the… Continue

Simply put, Let It Be!

One lesson that I've taken from The Beatles through simply listening to their music is that sometimes you need to just sit back and "Let It Be!" While it may feel wrong at first, some situations are not worth the stress that they induce if you persist. This lesson has saved me from being a nervous, stick-up-the-ass asshole. I used to persist at even the tiniest little problems until they drove everybody including me mad. When you sit back and just let yourself mellow out you can think so much cl… Continue

Attention geeks, there are females present

Holy crap, is it just me or does there seem to be a strange anomaly developing on this site. If a female geek joins they seem to be suddenly bombarded with friend requests and comments. I'll start off by saying that I'm not writing this out of anger, I'm happy with how things are going for me on this site compared to myspace. I've just noticed this over time, the females always seem to have an exponential growth over time. I kind of questioned myself as to whether I wanted to write this or not o… Continue

I make boom..... not!

Ok, for anybody who read my post entitled "Dangerous Chemicals" you'll be happy to hear that I'm still breathing even after a test run with a piece of copper wire. I mixed 2 parts hydrogen peroxide with 1 part muriatic acid in a plastic tub. Then I let it sit in the sun with a lid on the container so it'd heat up. Once it hit a good temperature I placed a piece of copper wire I had in my shop in the batch. I couldn't figure out why it was taking so long to etch. A half hour later I went outside… Continue

Robotics

How many here are interested in robotics? It's a field I've gotten into in the last 2 years but since that time I've advanced in leaps and strides. I work with Atmel AVR chips for controlling along with using an Ubuntu PC and parallel port for faster program execution. Once I really get into it I'm going to develop a program for Ubuntu that will allow the PC to run as a robotic controller. That way I can program it to do what it needs to and it'll just keep doing it. Robotics is a great field to… Continue

My Blueside

It's a song by Rooney that has kind of become how I define myself. I show who I am through my work, in robotics, computers, web design, or socializing. I joke, I'm there for people, I can be one of the nicest people you'll meet in your time of need. Trust me, I've handle many severe situations and every person who came to me called me back the next day just to thank me. I guess the key to who I am is the way I think. Music has made me.... dare I say it, sensitive. Eh, maybe I'm not the most sens… Continue

True true, depends where you live though I suppose. Places I've been to have obviously never heard the word common sense and must have so much money to waste on them, hahaa.

I wouldn't say the US and the UK are much different from each other then. The good ol' tradition of trick or treating is a pet favourite for this time of year I gather though, that and fireworks, god they are so annoying when you've been doing work (or infact, are trying to do work) and they're outside going off all the time, ahaa.

urm, I'd say so, we do have festivals and the like and people do go out dressed as madly as possible, ahaa. How about the US?
