I bought the iPhone 3GS and I am thoroughly happy with my decision. The touch screen is very responsive, and probably the best one I've had the pleasure to use. The app store is great, of course, and the widescreen iPod is fantastic. Also, safari ...
i was debating for a long time between the appl iphone 3GS and the palm pre but decided to get the iphone because of the pre's terrible battery life and crampt qwerty keyboard it is also slugish and i need speed.

I'll upgrade as soon as I can. I am really looking forward to it.
After dealing with 64bit Apache on Leopard, I am a little concerned about how well this will go over.
Snow Leopard will be available to Tiger users for $129.
For those that have Tiger will we have to purchase the Mac Box Set of Snow Leopard (at the standard price), or will we be able to purchase Snow Leopard at the standard $129 retail pricing?

Snow Leopard is a super optimized version of Leopard. If you want more performance out of your old machine then I'd upgrade. Also, since you can get 5 copies for just $50, why wouldn't you upgrade?
