Yup, and don't forget to register your nickname with the wyldride irc server. You can ask on the channel; they will give you the link and rules.

you have to be a 'voiced' user.
Chris Pirillo's live show? It automatically appears.
While recording? You have to have +v. And you don't get that until you've been on the chat for long enough.
