These are the 3D glasses from the theaters. These won't work on YouTube or anything like that. The ones for YouTube require those blue and red 3D glasses. Try finding those ones.

Aren't those cross polarized lenses? One is polarized vertically, the other horizontally. To test, get another pair and hold the lenses so that the left is on the right and they should turn black. If that's the case you won't be able to use them ...

I think Lightscribe pretty much comes standard these days on Burners.

I bought a great SATA DVD burner at Tigerdirect for under $30.

Install a driver through CLI and then maualy config you Xorg.conf file. It's good fun. To be honest, I can't see what you have against using ubuntu or some other easier OS. *Smacks head* I forgot, getting what you want is the way of the linux/GNU. XD
