Fedora 11 Review

Fedora 11 was released on the 9th of June. Codenamed Leonidas.

Fedora is a true Freedom OS. It is sponsored by RedHat and strives to have the very latest, even experimental software. It uses RPM and Yum and its main Desktop is Gnome. It can run on any Intel system or PPC Mac or PS3. It uses Compiz on Gnome and kWin on KDE and XFCE renderer on XFCE for graphical effects.

It is a Distro that holds a middle ground in ease of use. It uses Package Kit which is highly integrated with Yum. But due to… Continue

The Linux Community Book

Well Fedora 11 is nearly on us and it's time for me to write the tutorials for work. (The Senior Administrator and I decided to have the latest version installed) It is just a PDF filled with little explinaions of how to do several things. I ruin the post? Amazing. I didn't ask anyone to agree with me.

If you read the other blogs, then why didn't you bother to comment in them Dragon? Just curious.

Oh and welcome to the land of Geeks. You will soon find that a lot of people disagree. I feel that is a good thing. It keeps a balance.
