Ahhh, Ok, then personaly I would recommend XP, Vista may work well on your comp...but the bottom line is XP is a smaller OS, and will use a lot less system resources compared to Vista, Vista has some thing close to 90 processes going while in IDEL!! So if you have 1 GB of RAM it isn't enough, where as XP you can do quite a bit w/ 1 GB.

If ye have any other questions just ask.

A power user is some one who demands a LOT out of there systems, I have been known to have 30+ tabs pen in fire fox, run a virus scan, have E-mail open, Media player, and MSN going @ once. And I might even have Crysis minimized in the back ground. I can't even do 1/4 of that on my Vista comp.

But it rly depends what you do with the PC, if all you do is pretty much go on-line E-mail, I'm, ect...Vista will probably work pretty well for you, but if you are a 'power user' like I am, you probably do NOT wana go w/ it.

I have Vista on a one laptop and I HATE IT! I also have not had good luck w/ it on other PCs my friends have had me try and Fix, my advice to you is stay w/ XP...or get Win. 7 when it comes out, but make sure ye wait a few months after wards to make sure it is not as bad a Vista. xDDD.

As for my life, it is going pretty damn good as well.
