What's the geekiest thing you've ever done?: Probably strip out an old PC and put 2 DDR 400 [Samsung(512 MB per stick)] RAM Sticks in my parent's Desktop.

What do you do to entertain yourself?: Play Music, and fix stuff for people.

Favorite music, movies, books, shows, artists, games, people, events, hobbies, etc.?: I'm more of a country Guy now haha. But I love metal of course! I love taking pictures, getting fat, being on my PC, and just touching stuff!

Who Loves Music? and Macs? I Do!

A friend of mine just bought one of the new iMacs (20", 4 Gigs Memory, 250 GB HDD, and Logic Express 8 Music Software) and on the day he got it in the mail, I went over to come play with it and everything. Its AMAZING. We bought a 1/4 to 3.5 mm cable to use for his acoustic guitar since we're both musicians and wanted to do a lot of recordings on his computer now. FINALLY Active

Well for the few of you that know, I had a few issues with my Acer Aspire laptop. Here is the story

I was at church, and I was watching a movie off the computer in their projectors, and there was a high gauge audio cable connected to my headphone jack for the sound, and some kids were back behind the soundboard, and one of them "knocked" the cable that was in the jack, therefore making the cable move the headphone jack out of place. Hey for the few of you who will read my blog, I wont be very active on my page here for about a week or so, because I'm getting my laptop fixed by Micro Medics down in Illinois. It was something I couldn't fix. Might've been something simple for some of you on here, but what happened was...

Plans for a new Media Center, suggestions?

For a few weeks now, I've been wanting to find some good equipment to make my laptop, the Best, most comfortable, spot in the house to do Multi-Media tasks. Mostly just for me. I've thought of some good stuff, maybe you can tell me if I need more? Or Less? Or different Stuff? Let me know!! MY Thoughts about Windows Vista, and Other things.

Well Guys, I'm a total computer nerd. And, I have a few thoughts about my laptop that i recently bought. I bought an Acer, uhh, i think Aspire 5290? Its loaded with Windows Vista Home Premium, basically the "basic" version of Windows Vista. It has 3GB of RAM (Random Access Memory for the Un-Techy Peoples) 250 GB of harddrive, a 15.4" Display (widescreen measured from corner to corner). Indeed, that's why I got to love Acer. I don't like some of their pre-installed stuff though, but hey - it can always be worse: ever seen Sony VAIO's pre-installed crapware? The most I have ever seen on one, 'clean', new laptop...

They do make their computers for the average users, or, as I like to call them, idiots. No offense to anyone here. I spent hours searching for a compatible processor because Acer just had to have their own mobo.
