My answer is laconic but true: Star Trek, the Original Series. I don't think that any other sci-fi show in existence has the fanpower or the originality of TOS. These guys were pioneers in the days when a spaceship was a cutout on a stick.

What can I say. I am open minded to many things but I view on every thing. I try not juge others but I feel it needs to be done at times. I would be telling you a lie if I said I was not prejudice. I know what I know and thats all that matters. In...

Oh, I already hate this, and I'm only in 8th grade! "Accelerated Math" (as it's called now), is horrible, everyone is disregarding the teacher, and making comments whenever whey want to. At least my teacher is smart enough to notice it, and she mo...

That conspiracy has always been going on, it has simply entered the honor classes. Regardless how much a school pretends to focus on education for all, they like to win sports more. That is an American ideal. As such, they must force the jocks to ...

That's a good question, and although I'm definitely not one to know human nature, I think I have the answer. You see, humans in general are self-absorbed, self-promoting herd animals. That "top dog" instict is something we all have (even me, by gl...

Honors Kids-World's Biggest Misnomer

My classmates. They are life's true enigma to me. After all, if I am the "cream of the crop", as the teachers say, then why am I treated like shoe crud? Out of all my honors classes (I'm in 4, and it's my sophomore year), I noticed that I seem to be treated like a "handle with care package". I have some of the highest grades and best test scores in the classes, nay, the school, and yet I am still widely disregarded and ignored. Why am I and the few nerdy kids in my classes treated so?

The Internet Isn't All Bad

To me, it seems that the true beauty of the internet is underappreciated. My mother has barely ever used it, stating that she believes it destroys the intelligence of the user. My father only uses it to try and create more conspiracy theories and on the eternal hunt for the perfect job. My sister is a frequent surfer of the sites that little kids tend to visit. Y'know, My Little Pony, Care Bears, Webkinz, and the like. But overall, ask any older person, and what will they tell you? A good deal (… Continue

NugneH, qaStaH nuq?

Well, I've finally found a place for my thoughts. I already have a physics blog, and now I've got one especially for my random geekiness. Oh joy!

For those of you who don't know me, I am the geekiest female in my tricounty area. I am currently a freshman in high school, taking all honors classes, with an A+ current average (darn you, world history!). I am interested in physics, and I want to be a quantum mechanist when I become of age. I am currently college shopping and reading about 8 differe… Continue

Rebecca, You say that you have the complete Star Trek series. I guess that you mean the original version with William Shatner. I have that also on Video Tapes.

I don't know anyone that owns all of the Star Trek TV shows which include TNG, DS9, Voyager, and Enterprise as well as all of the movies.
