What applications do you know about?
I know off Tweety the Twitbot (to add it add tweety-wave@appspot.com to your contacts) which basicly allows you to read and post tweets from a wave. It also allows to add other people to add twits for you which...
Good for you Petros. I have a friend who is a pilot. He wanted to be one so badly that he worked at a lumber yard, not making much money but all of it went to flying lessons. His dad said that he would send him to any school in the nation to get a great education but he only wanted to fly.
He has been a pilot most of his life. Flown for big airlines for years and when he grew tired of the same old same old of flying to the same cities and back all the time, he took another job with a company flying their CEO's to many places. He has great benefits too. They allow him to take someone with him when they go to a resort or on any vacation.
Another wonderful perk is that they let him use any of their planes to fly other people. That is like free money for him.
I wish you the best my dear. You will do great. Hey, one day, you can have a necklace like that made with diamonds in it. ha ha
Hi Petros. I was just looking at your avatar....I want a necklace like that one. Nice pearls with a Geek thingy. ha ha Cool.
What type of planes do you fly? I once was an aircraft mechanic and have been in the cockpit of KC-135's and C-130's plus a few jets.
I have also flown with a friend friends in smaller aircraft and sat in the co-pilots seat learning to read the maps for charting the flight. It was interesting and kept my mind off of flying until I became accustom to it.
Hey Petros. I noticed that you belong to a lot of groups but if you want to get to know people, check out the forum discussions.
I think pilots are very geeky since I have been in many cockpits. It seems that with all of that equipment to keep up with, one has to have some very geeky skills.
Welcome to Geeks. Have fun and enjoy yourself on here. The people are great and most are very friendly.
