The easiest way to download NeoOffice is to go to GetNeo.com. (Well, I'm the developer of that website so I'm probably biased.)

Processor. The only PC game I play is WoW.

That would depend on the machine I was upgrading. If the processor was half way decent, then I would spend the money on a video card to free up some resources. If the processor wasn't all that good I'd sink more money into that first and see how the…

Processor, hands-down. I mean, PC gaming is fun, but multi-tasking is more important (especially if you've got a gaming console, anyway). *Looks at his iMac, and slightly misses the days of ultimate customization, albeit unnecessary anymore*

How to Get NeoOffice, an OpenOffice.org alternative for Mac

I'm sure almost everyone knows about OpenOffice.org, the free Office Suite for Windows, OS X, and Linux. But some people, like me, might have an older Mac that OpenOffice is not compatible on. I have found a solution to that problem. A program called NeoOffice. It is exactly alike to OpenOffice but is more compatible with older computers. I personally think NeoOffice is better than OpenOffice for Mac anyway. To get NeoOffice visit,

Logitech EX 100 Wireless Desktop Review

The other day I was at Target looking in the computer isle. They had interesting things there. They had the Logitech G11 gaming keyboard, different mice, webcams, ect. I saw this Logitech EX 100 Wireless Desktop set and I knew I had to buy it. It looked like a great wireless desktop set and it only cost me $27.99 (not including tax.) When I got home I opened the box. What it included:
1) 1 Logitech EX 100 Wireless Keyboard
2) 1 Logitech EX 100 Wireless Mouse
3) 1 Logitech Wireless Receiver
4) Th… Continue

How to Replace the RAM in a iMac G4 (The way Apple wants you to do it!)

Replacing the RAM in the iMac G4 using the SODIMM port is super easy. Here is how you do it.
1) Unplug everything that is plugged into your iMac G4, especially the power cable.
2) Get a small Phillips head screwdriver handy.
3) Take your iMac G4 and lay it on the screen. I recommend that you lay the screen on a t-shirt, towel, or something to protect your screen. The back faceplate should be visible now.
4) There are 4 screws on the back faceplate. Remove them with your Phillips head screwdriver… Continue

My Thoughts on Mac and PC

Everybody has their opinions about their favorite computer. I am going to share my opinions. First off, I love the Mac operating system. It is nearly flawless. But, that is not my complaint about Mac computers. I have two main complaints about Macs. The first is that it makes me upset that an iMac G4 from around 2004 is very outdated in the Mac world. But a PC from 2004 can still be considered relatively new computer that is super easy to upgrade and make it just like new. My second complaint ab… Continue

Pat, go for it on Linux. On older Pentiums, 2,3,4's it runs very very well. I think youd be impressed.
