I would so sign up for that. A website, sort of like facebook. Someone makes up this super list of achievements that can be added everyday as we come up with new ones. You have to take a picture or show documentation as proof that you actually did...

My Expierence With Windows 7 Problem Steps Recorder

Buried somewhere in your Windows 7 Beta 1 is a tiny program for those whom provide technical support. It's not readily accessible, and is not even properly named.

The program I am talking about is Windows Problem Steps Recorder.

It's a tool that records everything you do, and zips it into a MHTML report page. The report page is an XML document that shows you or the recipient that actions taken during recording. This allows the help and support to see what you are doing wrong; or at least see w… Continue

HP 6735s Review

I have had a few laptops in my lifetime thus far. None are top of the line, and the list consist of 2 ThinkPad T20s, a Lenovo N100 3000, a HP 530, and now my HP 6735s.

My fastest until now was the Lenovo N100 3000. It had a dual core Intel and 1GB of RAM. This one is a lot faster, boasting a dual core AMD and 2GB of RAM. Let’s get back to the topic at hand.

In the box, the whole package must have weighed just under 10lbs. I am bad at guessing weight, but this is one light piece of equipment. I… Continue

HP Premium Headset with Microphone Review

HP seems to be on a good path with it's design choices. A mix of grays and blacks with a bit of gloss scattered about here an there. Its seen on all of their current generation products from mice to towers. However that's a different topic.
Today I am giving my review of the HP Premium Headset with microphone.

Thanks for the comment on the blog.

I have a quick question though. Did you measure the performance on Media Center in both builds? I'm using build 6956 and Media Center seems to eat up a fair amount of resources.

I see your using a GeForce 6200 card in one of ya PC's. It's a great card, but I had to swap it over for the GeForce7300SE, because the 6200 that I bought (online) had no s-video out for the TV. It has the HDMI slot and 2 DVI slot's, and as I'm not using a HD LCD , i had no use for it.

Hey Orlando, thanx for the comment on my MCE. By the way, I am using a wireless keyboard and mouse. I do do a lot of browsing the Internet, that's why I haven't specifically made it Media Centre only mode. We do have a second computer in the spare room, but that's for my partner and the kids.
This little machine does the job and I get to sit in comfort when I'm listening to my favourite sounds whilst blogging.
OH yeah, lol, welcome to Geeks, glad to have you here.

Thanks :) I HATE the color beige and I had good components in there so the case did them no justice. I only had a minor problem of paint coming off so i had to put another coat on and then seal it :P but Ill be doing a lot more mods in the future. This was kinda my test run to see how it went, glad you like it!
