I recently purchased an LG Rumor and must say that I love the phone- but definately not the service. I am mostly a texter, and only got the phone because I wanted it for texting / mobile purposes, therefore I got the prepaid fun 20 plan...
Here's the LG USB Modem software that I use with my Rumor phone. Works well.
open the mp3 in a audio editor capable of changing the format to 32bit signed pcm wav file cut out the sections you dont want till the total length is about 30 seconds or less rename the file then convert the format to mp3 again this should strip ...
I found a simple way to do it,
1. Cut a clip of the song you want try to make it around 10sec
2. Put it on the sound file in your Micro sd card
3. Go to sounds>send sound
4. Message the sound to yourself
5. Save as a ringtone.
