What kind of geek are you?: Car, Guitar, "Twilight", and Running Geek!

Why do you consider yourself a geek?: I'm too XC for my shirt.

How did you find out about our Geek community?: live.pirillo.com

What are your "geeky equipment" specs?: I run XC (Cross Country). My running shoes for races is a pair of red and black, Brooks Mach 8 Cross Country Spikes. I also run Track and Field. For Track I race in a pair of blue and black, Nike Zoom Rival S IV Track Spikes. For people who want to know I run for Tahoma High School.

I love music and I love playing guitar. I own a Davis Acoustic Guitar, made in the Philippines. I also own an acoustic guitar made by Esteban. Both are spruce topped guitars and mahogany backed. I used to own an electric guitar, but I don't remember what exactly the make was. Other than guitars, I used to have an Amber Fade 5-piece Pearl ELX Export drum set with black hardware and silver cymbal stands with Sabian B8 cymbals. The drum sizes were 22X18" bass drum, 10" and 12" Toms, and a 14" suspended floor tom. My cymbals were a 12" Hit Hat, a 14" and 16" Crash, and a crash 18" crash-ride. I tried to set up my drums as closely to the drummer of My Chemical Romance as possible.

As for a car! Don't have one yet. But I love JDM, muscle, and European Cars! And yes, I know, that is a weird combination. What I want for my car is a 1991 Nissan 240sx. But my dream car is a 2008 BMW M3. There is just something about a 4.0L V8 in an M3 that sounds sexy. I might even throw a Borla Exhaust on that M3 so it sounds "Muscly." I also give more power to the 414hp, but there is always the debate about Supercharger vs. Turbo. Oh and yes I love Drifting and Drag Racing.

What do you do to entertain yourself?: Running, playing guitar, watching intresting videos and TV shows.

Favorite music, movies, books, shows, artists, games, people, events, hobbies, etc.?: Favorite Music: I love all music, but I'm not too fond of Country Music.

Movies: Not too big of a movie buff, but I love Across the Universe, A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, The Holiday, and Soul Plane.

Books: Of coarse I love the Twilight series. But I also like Call it Courage, Chinese Cinderella, The Kiterunner, 1984, and Dragonwings.

Shows. Family Guy, Spongebob Squarepants, Chowder, Heros

Artists: Underoath, Archie Star, Josh Verdes, Stephen Speaks, Cobra Starship, Paramore, I Am The Enemy

Games: EA Skate, NFS ProStreet (Drifting =P), Old Shcool Games, Rainbow Six Vegas, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

XC Running

Up the hills, down the hills, through the woods, back and forth, on the road, through the grass, in the mud, through rain, sun, and snow, we still run. That's what running cross country is all about. But writing about it is far from the experience you get when you watch or run in the race.
