What kind of geek are you?

I guess I'm kind of a mix between Otaku fan and Computer/Gamer enthusiast

Why do you consider yourself a geek?

Well, if I'm not at classes or out with friends, there's a 95% chance I'm on my pc, so I think that kind of makes me a geek :D

How did you find out about our Geek community?

When searching on more info on Macs I found Chris' videos on youtube, and one thing led to another

What are your "geeky equipment" specs?

PC - Matsonic MS9317E+ mainboard,
Intel P4 @ 2.6 Ghz,
80 Gb hardrive,
1Gb DDR333 RAM,
ATI Radeon @ 256Mb graphics card
Creative SB Live! soundcard.
It's running Windows XP SP3.
Got also a Samsung SyncMaster 901n 19" monitor, a Growing KB-302UP keyboard, a Razer DiamondBack 3G gaming mouse and a SteelSeries QcK+ mousepad.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I'm not quite sure yet, but something on the field of economics, or maybe on political field.

What is the thing in life you treasure most?

My family and friends

What's the geekiest thing you've ever done?

Play OGame (a web-browser game). I got to a point I stayed up all night attacking other player's planets. While in campus I would "run" to the "computer rooms" between classes, to check for incoming attacks or the the status of my space ships. And at home I had the game open 100% of the time. Eventually, my fleet was wipped out by my "friendly" neighbour with the help of a "Phalanx Scan" and I quit the game after being adicted to it for 1 whole year (thank God :)

What do you do to entertain yourself?

Playing World of Warcraft and Counter Strike 1.6. Also reading a lot on the internet, mainly about tech but I read about everything. Of course that's what I do, when I'm at home, since do go out almost everyday to grab a cup of coffee and on the weekend I do get my dry martini while I'm out at night.
