What kind of geek are you?

A geek that loves computers, internet, linux and tech!

Why do you consider yourself a geek?

Wow...what shall i put here? lets tell something about myself, and what i do, in my geeky life. For the last past years i really started to geek out. I got so infected with all this geekness, that i am going to change my job soon. I hope to start in a computer business. In my free time, i help out other people with computer problems, and i like to build/modify/repair them. I also started using Linux about two years ago, and i really enjoy it. on the wyldryde irc chat i have my own channel (#linux) and in there i like to help out people with linux questions and problems.

-MSI 845pe max-L motherboard
-Pentium IV , 2,4 ghz cpu (northwood) 533FSB
-1 gb of ddr sdram (pc3200)
-Nvidia Geforce 6600GT AGP video card
-200GB samsung HDD with 8mb cache
-samsung 2043NW lcd widescreen (20")

-Acer Travelmate 4050
-1,6 ghz pentium 4 mobile cpu
-1 gb ddr sdram
-60 GB hdd
-Intel accelerated videodriver (i915) ?

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Well, i am allready grown, but there are some things i want to achieve in this life.Its defenitly goin to be a life with computers,tech and linux! The most important thing for the rest of my life is being happy and get the most out of every day!

What do you do to entertain yourself?

This picture is taken on the beach of scheveningen (The hague) in the netherlands, while we were celebrating our 7 year relationship. Some people say that geeks and relationships dont go well together, but as u can see i prove otherwise!

A cat in the bag!

My laptopbag was open, and my cat Tiger decided to take a nice nap inside the bag, cause she likes it that much. i just love this cat!

My compiz Fusion Desktop!

this is a nice example of what u can do with Compiz Fusion. its a nice addon for every Linux desktop, no matter if you run KDE, GNOME or other desktop enviroments....yes in linux the possibilities are endless.
