If you have a mac and a pc with a i7, than pc can win time.
But i say: MAC
I dont own i mac but i use it some times in shops.
Its faster and dont get slower.
But if u look on OS, i really dont know.
My first pc was a medion, it has windows xp but not SP2.
I got em from 2001 when i was 13 years, pentium 3 or 4 i think.
He crashes in 2004, but he was very slow :P
My first OS was windows 95, on school.
I was only 6 or 7 years old.
XP is 1 of the best OS ever made, but windows 7 will be have a great succes to ;D
And 2000 was to great, but when XP come out everyone was looking to buy it.

Windows 7 is great. I tried out the beta for a while and was digging it, although I use Linux Mint for my main OS. I had to switch back to Vista to get Fallout 3 working properly, however.
I will stay with XP for at least 10 full years, but maybe not as a primary OS. I guess that I will get Win7 just for directx11, which I have heard coming out with the OS.
Do not go to Vista, awful OS, a nightmare installing from scratch. Windows 7 is nice and works a lot better, easier to install. However if you want your software to still work, stay with XP.
Whoa, no way......but Windows 95 was may favorite OS at the time, I really liked it and thats what got me into computers, I even have it in a Virtual machine for nostalgia

WinXP Pro (Also Linux Mint, but I'm not using it this summer.)

Hard to tell... If I put games apart.. should be Mint, else I dunno, probably XP.

Windows XP Pro SP3
Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit SP2
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit RC build 7100
When Windows 7 officially comes out I will be getting Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
In the end Windows XP Pro SP…
I have 3 OS' now: Vista Home Premium, Ubuntu 9.04 and OSX Leopard 10.5.6
I plan on upgrading to OSX 10.5.7 shortly
And OS X Snow Leopard will be my favorite, if it is ever hackintoshable!
What OS I have now: A windows vista Home premium SP1
What will be my next OS: Maybe 7
My favorite OS: I guess XP....I have bad luck around a mac
