Make sure you backup your documents, bookmarks, aim (or other chat client) logs if you want them and most importantly your email. Also, you may want to back up your MP3s separately as well.
well the upgrade works, but u still loose everything going straight from windows xp, id just do a format and fll reinstall anyways, but remeber to back ur data off the pc

That's not exactly true. Quad cores are not supported by most games right now.
