Can someone help me?
my friend is hosting a irc on a dedi server and was wondering how to make the domain go to the ip.like wyldrydes is irc.wyldryde.org he wants his to be like that
lol i have the newest avg on a pretty old pc and i dont even know its there most the time, it auto updates without me confirming and even has active monitoring with the website safe browser and executable scanning. i do have daily scanning disabled…
i didn't have any problems with avg,,i love it!!!but now i use kaspersky,,hehe
I use Avira as well in combination with AVG and Avast. you can also try kaspersky. avast is really good but it tends to slow down your computer's performance.
I like Avast Pro :)
I got it for like a year and I liked it much more than AVG free.
i've had good luck with both, at home i use avg on one pc and avast on another, and both have done great jobs, the worst thing you can do is waste money on something like norton, over priced crapware
I have worked on too many computers running Avast that had infections it didn't prevent and couldn't handle, so I no longer rec it. AVG's email facility is irksome, but the rest of the program is Okay as far as an AV.

I don't ever notice, my power and rammed being consumed by it. Then again I am running 4GB and GB if that would make a difference.

rendered you should invest in the Full paid version it is much better the then free version.
As much as I have like avg, AND THE FACT it's free, it's update process is simply a nuisance and seems constant. I think all of these Anti virus programs need to stand back and take a long look at themselves. I don't need something in my face daily…
