Picking a Laptop!!

My friend is in the market for a new laptop and she's down to two choices:

She mostly going to use it for basics things like internet, Microsoft office, downloading music, etc. nothing really over the top.

If you can give me some advice on which one would be best for her to get I would really appreciate it.
