Soul Caliber II
I just finished for the evenin' rockin' old skool Soul Caliber II. I had forgotten just how great that game was. I bought it today at a thrift store for $2. I did find out that it that it is harder to play when you have had to many Loratabs and drank way too much home made wine. In case you have not read my previous blogs I am on Loratab due to impending rotator cuff surgery...I tore 2 tendons and they need to reattach them. Score!!!
I went to the Goodwill today with my momma and lil sis...they buy things to sell on ebay there. I was lucky enough to find the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D model unopened and for only $3.38!!! Of course I snatched it up and then I went and looked at the books. I found The Missing Manual Mac OS 9, The Physics of Star Trek with forward by Stephen Hawking and Where the Wild Things Are all for $.88 a piece.

Rotator Cuff surgery
I am a noob here so no one knows that I am fixin' to have rotator cuff surgery to repair a pair of torn tendons in my right shoulder. This greatly limits my capabilities and it will only worsen when it is done...I have seen the recovery time for this type of surgery and I am not looking forward to it at all. Am I whining, probably a little, too much homemade wine and Loratab will have that effect on someone. - Yea, I was away from Geeks for a while this summer as well. I missed a lot of the pople here as well.
As for the remodeling, have fun lol. We put an addition on our house last summer so i know how much fun that can be lol.
