Run in Safe Mode, store all important files into an external source. Then reformat your system. It works for me every time.
I am convinced that the people who write the virus protection software write the virus that there software can fix.
This was backed up when there was a virus that would point the user towards buying this anti-virus software not a well known one but…

Did you try the sites I mentioned? THEY will help you. There are many knowledgeable people there.
No offense, but this is rediculous. Just because of a nasty, there is NO freaking reason to trash & reinstall. 99.9 % of the time that is never needed.
I had this before, all i could go on was msn, i just simply done system restore to a week before and it fixed it, but by the looks of this, yours is a slightly different case, as it let me use my anti-virus (AVG) but AVG doesnt pick much stuff up so…
