- music, sci fi, computer games (flight sims mainly),model building, RPG Geek.
- Why do you consider yourself a geek?
- I have always been a geek, our at least as long as I can remember.
- How did you find out about our Geek community?
- Phil Plait mentioned it in his Bad Astronomy blog.
- What do you want to be when you grow up?
- Sadly, I'm all grown up. But, I'd love to be a full time musician.
- What makes you laugh?
- Lately, the general public and the fact that they have no grip on reality.
- What is the thing in life you treasure most?
- My wife and two kids, and my two Fender Jazz basses (gifts from my wife)
- What's the geekiest thing you've ever done?
- I recall a few marathon D&D sessions when I was in high school as being quite geeky.

- Play with my kids, watch movies, music, games, and so on.

Rush and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Disgruntled Rush fan here. What the frak is up with the Hall of Fame? Rush has been eligible for years, and yet they keep getting passed up. Why? It makes no sense. While I’ll be the first to admit that Rush has always been a bit of a cult band, but the current crop of nominees has a few of those, and there have been plenty of inductees in the past that aren’t part of the main stream.

Band Demo posted!
I figured it was high time I posted some songs from my band, Friend or Foe, on Geeks, so I uploaded our 2005 demo. While the demo is old, it does give a decent representation of the band at the time. Since then, we have added a second guitarist, so some of these songs are a touch different now. We have 10 song CD that is very close to completion, which will have one song from the demo, the rest being either entirely new or songs that we didn’t have the chance to record the first time around.

Tedescucci said… - Thanks for the heads up on the Tron parts, I have a few places online to get them from, and sadly, with big theme park acrads like that, they have no idea how much something is worth... usually in a bad way. It shouldn't take anymore then a few hundred to get the machine up and going, and with places like that, they usually try to get that much JUST for the PCB that has the game on it.
This is going to be a long term project, a piece here and there when I have the money to spare. But to get it RUNNING, shouldn't take but maybe 3 pieces. Everything else is just for looks.
Thanks again for the heads up, I'll keep up to date on that blog so that I can show the process. But, it's not going to be going by at a mile a minute... it will probably take about a year or so. I'm also a big fan of the game, and since I haven't seen one running in person for WELL over 7 years, it'll be nice to just wake up in the morning and walk out and see it there running.
