Buried and Overwhelmed
Well my New Year could be off to a better start but such is and so be it. My sinuses are, again, hit. It took me and ENTIRE day to hook up a washer and dryer. For some reason, soldering new pipe is usually easier when the building's water shut off actually works... heh

I Had Great Time on Geeksradio.fm Last Night
I am still trippin' on the fact that I actually got nervous over a pre-recorded podcast being aired. Unlike most of what I do, which is download on demand stuff, I actually knew when it would be listened to. It changed things a bit. I have not done much radio and when I did I was more the studio rat guy. It really is no different.

- What are your "geeky equipment" specs?
- Now that is a long story. I run three machines, six monitors and use one keyboard and trackball via synergy. Be afraid... one of them still runs ME. Another is an AMD running XP sp3 and, my newest toy, a dual core 2.4 is running Ubuntu Studio. I use the AMd to keep the studio warm, the ME machine to recycle older hardware and the Ubuntu box for real work.
- What do you want to be when you grow up?
- At my age we call it growing old. My answer is "younger".
- What makes you laugh?
- Many things. Nitrous Oxide usually works right until the dentist fires up the drill.
- What is the thing in life you treasure most?
- Allthough diminushing daily, I would say the rights and liberties we have.

- Maybe this personal computer and studio setup?

Lumpy's Living Room and Stream
My little live stream will be down for a few days. Hopefully it will be back up by the end of this weekend. My old PCs simply lack the resources to keep it going well.
