I'm guessing most users who have had Macs, would agree that it is far superior to what Microsoft has to offer.
As for Windows 7. I haven't used it much so I cannot comment on it. In my brief encounter with it, I must say that the performance is a vast improvement over Vista. People I know passionately hate Vista are completely smitten by it. However there are the critics who do not like the new taskbar....

Vista had been extremely horrible to us. For me, I like using an OS which isn't resource hungry and give it alot of ram to run faster. If I had to use Vista, I'd find the performance as good as running XP with 256MB ram....

One important reason why I will always like Mac OS X over Windows. Its designed to be more efficient in resources from the ground up.

So, it appears that Vista has been good to you. Any problem to report.
For most of us, there have been a lot of issues with Vista... basically Windows in general.
But hey, if Windows works for you... great.

I like programming too. I'm just starting to learn Obj-C 2.0 for mac.
