Because it is so far off topic I will post the answer here.

Unfortunately the US is not even close to being all dependant on nuclear power, we are largely dependant on coal. The liberals in this country have people scared to death of nuclear power, they say it is dirty and dangerous, both of which are un-true. Thats why w/ Cap & tax prices would go so high, here is a direct quote from the mesia him self ((Obama)) "Under my plan of a Cap & Trade system, electricity rates would necessarily sky rocket"

Christmas – the worst three days… err… three months of the year.

This year, and in fact, every year I have Christmas with the family. Every year 10-12 people are there. This leads me to question the meaning of Christmas. It’s been long since the days of celebrating the birth of a religious figure during Christmas. These days it’s Santa and presents and all that bullsh*t. Why do [...]

What’s wrong with people? Part deux.

I’m sorry if this bothers you, but I really have the need to continue my last post now… The following story may be a bit depressing, so if you are easily influenced, try not to care. I mean, people are just such f*cking idiots. For crying out loud. Let me describe you a person… no particular person, but [...]

What’s wrong with people?

I woke up at 9 o’clock this morning. Not because I wanted to, not because I needed to, but because someone called me. It’s Saturday morning. If you knew me, you’d know I have really hard and long days during the work week, and prefer to sleep on Saturdays till, at least, two o’clock in the afternoon. But [...]

Listen up, WMG!

Have you ever heard of a concept called “free promotion”? Basically, the product you sell gets advertised, without you paying for the advertising… Well, how does it work? Let’s take an example –  youtube. A user posts a video containing your music. Or a music video by an artist that’s signed under your label. You think to yourself [...]

Profanity and the modern society – what the fuck?

WARNING! The following post contains “profane” words in a reported manner. If you are deeply religious or otherwise can not stand anything closely related to reproduction, please, do not read this post for the sake of your mental health. Otherwise, carry on reading. If you’ve read some of my posts, you probably know I sometimes use [...]

This leads me to question the meaning of Christmas. It’s been long since the days of celebrating the birth of a religious figure during Christmas. Depends on the hardware and software configurations. I have a 100Mbit/s download and 6Mbit/s upload Home Cable connection. For example, I can get almost 70-80Mbit/s download speed over Wireless, but only around 40-50Mbit/s over Ethernet. I use an…

The only problem I have with the whole process is the stress and pressure it brings. Giving gifts should not be stressful and pressure laden. If you care about the people whom show up on this day to collect, then you should be able to give the gifts…

Oh, FFS, those rules in your country are really fkd up!! Everyone/family celebrates Christmas in a different way. But from what I hear most of them are enjoyable. China now celebrates it for the money (economy). They figure we say, "Merry Christmas"…

You should be able to crop the black bars away - the picture quality would be a bit worse, but if those bars annoy you that much... We really should have a unified standard for blu-ray, in terms of aspect ratio - either everything 16:9 or everythi…

I don't have blu-ray yet, unfortunately. But what I do have is 1080p HD films and TV programmes playing on my screens. How? Sorry, can't tell you - not the most legal way.

As a comparison - and I'm not trying to make this a Mac V PC topic: Leopard->Snow Leopard was about the same. It doesn't look that much different, or feel different, but performance for some Apps has improved drastically. But when I was going from…

Now whoever came up with the idea that Christmas displays are a requirement in Department stores on Labor Day needs to be crucified. That is the final day in summer when I will spend the entire day clad in nothing but swim trunks. Happy holidays. (I…

Actually I didn't believe in God since childhood, but I have a very logical mind. However, somehow deep in my heart I knew there was one, even though I didn't believe it or acknowledge it. I was 35 before I had a full blown awakening.

There is this "right" we have in the U.S. Freedom of religion and from religion. I choose the latter. I can delete all the channels on my TV that are televangelists and all the shopping channels as well. Now when someone sneaks this into our forum,…
