Try updating the firmware for your router. Sometimes firmware updates will fix issues with routers. If not then I recommend Linksys routers. I have always used them and never had any issues at all!!!

Yeah, I had to go through like five different people before I made them realize that it wasn't always messed up like this. I could almost see them shrugging their shoulders as they said everything was perfect on their end.

Thanks. I thought the speeds were way low, and my computer is too new and not at all bogged down by junk, soI didn't imagine it could be the problem. I'll call AT&T again.

I should have paid closer attention to your points, and while I still do not rule out my above statement, I guess my question is, are you using an At&t wireless card ? If so, it is possible you might be getting static from At&t as Ken stated.

Its AT&Ts fault those speeds are below average at this point in time, do you know the speeds they advertise? If not look it up and if they are considerably higher demand them to fix the problem but if they are around advertised speeds I would sugg...
