What I am Thinking Right Now:

Check out these stories at my website:

Profile Information

What kind of geek are you?
Creative Geek, one who loves to write and create images/animations in 3D
Why do you consider yourself a geek?
Because I am what I am
How did you find out about our Geek community?
From the Ultimate Geek (you may know him as Chris Pirillo)
What are your "geeky equipment" specs?
Main Computers:

Imac 24" 2.16 GHz. 4GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM (can only use 3GB), 250 GB Hard Disk, Superdrive, Bluetooth & Airport Extreme

Power Mac G5 Dual 2 GHz, 3.5GB DDR SDRAM, 160 GB & 80 GB Hard Drives, Dual Layer Superdrive, Bluetooth & Airport Extreme.

Other geeky equipment:

Xbox 360

Xbox & Nintendo 64
(Nintendo 64 kept around for Zelda's Ocarina of time & Majora's Mask, that and I just have a hard time throwing out old technology. Had the Commodore 64 for years - wish I still had it actually.

Powerbook G4 (currently needs a new hard drive)

What do you want to be when you grow up?
N/A, I don't plan on growing up
What makes you laugh?
Comedy with a plot
What is the thing in life you treasure most?
My cat, I am not worthy of her greatness.
What's the geekiest thing you've ever done?
I recently bought an Xbox 360. What's geeky about that? Well I think that spending around AU$650 (on a console & accessories) just so I can play Fable 2 (when it's released) is rather geeky.
What do you do to entertain yourself?
I do things that entertain me
Favorite music, movies, books, shows, artists, games, people, events, hobbies, etc.?
Too many to mention.

Please check out my writing on FictionPress and review.

The Ultimate Remote Control

‘Stop right there Mister!’
‘Ah what have I done now?’ you ask reaching into your pocket.
‘It’s not what you did; it’s what you didn’t do. How many times have I told you to... [silence]’
You hit the pause button and grab a drink from the fridge as you slip the ultimate remote control back into your pocket. The nagging can wait.

The idea of a remote that can control both people and time has probably been around since the creation of the very first remote control. The idea has appeared countless t… Continue

What If Life Had A Gamerscore?

There is a knock at the door. You’ve been feeling pretty sick lately so you don’t bother crawling out of bed. It’s probably just a stupid door-to-door salesman anyway. They knock again.
‘Okay okay, hold your horses?’
‘I’m already here. I knock only because I have been told that it’s polite.’
The voice, that sounds like two cement blocks rubbing together, sends a chill down your spine or it would have if you could still feel your body. All of a sudden you feel rather light-headed and transparent.… Continue

Where Would You Go In Time?

For one reason or another, you find yourself without a car. Luckily, a friend is prepared to lend you one. You head over to their place to pick it up.
‘You come for the loaner?’
You nod.
Your jaw drops to the ground as your friend points to the car sitting in the driveway. This is because:

A) Your friend is the biggest nerd on the planet and you’re actually embarrassed to call this person friend
Or
B) You can’t wait to see if the Mr Fusion, time circuits and flux capacitor actually work.

Which Child Should Live and Which Should Die?

You hear several high pitch screams. You scramble over the rocks, arriving at a cliff where two boys are struggling to hold onto the edge. As their fingers slip, you grab hold of their arms, stopping them from plummeting to their deaths. Slowly, you try pulling them back onto the cliff. Either you’ve just won the World’s Weakest Person competition or these kids are the type that won’t eat vegetables unless they’re deep-fried. Whatever the reason, you’re unable to pull them back onto the cliff as… Continue

Super Powers on Sale: Which Would You Choose?

Instead of curling up under the blankets, you find yourself standing in a busy market place on a cold Sunday morning. Your friend keeps on telling you that this will be fun. You tell them that you could be at home having fun in bed. You smirk as they glare at you.

‘The Xbox will still be there when you get back.’
Clearly you’re not going to win this argument, so you allow your friend to tow you through the crowds.

At some point you become separated, Thank God, and as you stumble around for the… Continue

Hi Glenn, I suppose the reason that I said health is because the only thing in my life that prevents me from jumping right off in the middle of so many things is because I have arthritis. It prevents me from doing so many things.

Glenn, I forget where you live.

You're saying it would be 6 am on a Sunday morning?! I wouldn't get up that early.

I might just do another show at a more convenient time for people in your time zone.

Help educate me to your situation, please.

Great! I'll check out ours as well, and if you could give the the link(s) to some of your writing, that would be awesome. I really like your looking out for other writers. It clearly shows how much you love writing.

That's strange. With all due respect, although the idea is completely ridiculous, I actually found myself rather intrigued. I'm now checking Amazon regularly to see if the Ultimate Remote Control is for sale.

Very interesting idea. I would maybe use the rewind button and go back and change some things from the past. Is that allowed? haha :)
