- Hello, and thanks for the question.. After a couple of years of procrastination, I finally broke down and did so myself. It seems that whatever throw at it, it simply chews it up no problem. The power and speed of this machine, is like nothing I have ever owned or built before. And I have built several pretty good PC's.. What do I use, Aperture, Final Cut Express, Open Office, and trade between, Iwork. Web site creation, is simple for me, I have started using Rapid Weaver, because I do not need the complications of Dream Weaver.
Outside of that, I use boot camp with Windows Vista Utimate 64bit, and I can only say that Windows runs rock solid on a Mac Pro. I play Crysis with it, as Well, a miriade of other games, it simply does everything I need at the homestead.
I could go on, but I fear that I sound as if I have a "special" kind of relationship with my Mac Pro. Easy to use, easy to upgrade, simply works well. If you are seriously thinking about taking this plunge, I highly doubt you will regret it.
