No printer, Avast! antivirus, a few misc. Drivers in the boot list.. Not much. Sound Manager, WinAmp agent, Microsoft Intelipoint driver, nVidia driver, Avast, and Java updater. 6 items, not bad at all.
45 Seconds. A properly tuned OS with all the garbage cleaned out and useless startup items removed should be at least this fast. Did you install something recently? New printer? Check for Malware/virus. When was your last disk defragment?

If it takes longer than 45 seconds to boot to the point on virtually no HDD acces, I'll reinstall XP. I can't stand waiting on a boot. Both my media center and gamer take give or take 30 seconds.
