Hey folks, Never added a comment on here before, but thought that I'd give everyone a heads up on what happens when you do have paranormal activity in your house and you call for help. I'm not going get into specifics unless I really have to. But,…

The problem(s) being a geek.... 1)No matter how important a meeting/doctors appt/arrons/etc... If a new tech toy/gadgit/etc... gets delivered, or if all of a sudden your computer/network/or program that you depend on crashes........ all of sudden an…

Yeah, when I was a kid, we had to carve our own CPU's out of wood. If you wanted to IM, you had to yell into a can with a string attached to it--we got so good at it, we didn't even need the can and the string. :P

Late to the party but, well, there's always two sides to a coin. First observation: There's a 100 foot space between that tractor trailer and the car it is following at 65 mph. Should I scoot over in front of the Truck? Let's see, if I do the math…

What do you do to entertain yourself?
smoke, chat, surf the net, Fix something, search for ways to better myself, add things to my smart home, look for ways of making peoples lives easier.
Favorite music, movies, books, shows, artists, games, people, events, hobbies, etc.?
I like just about any kind of music but lean more towards country.
I don't care for a lot of Rap crap.

I like a lot of movies, like Matrix, Stargate... anything sci-fi, horror. I hate parody/stupid comedy movies.

I'm not a real book reader, although when I do read it's mostly mystery like Steve King, I also enjoy reading poetry.
My spelling on the other hand sucks.

My favorite shows are Stargate SG-1 & Atlantis, X-files, Law & Order & CSI / CSI NY / CSI Miami, Ghost Hunters, Lost, Ghost Whisperer, House, smallville, supernatural, Biggest looser.
I really despise most reality shows that exploit someone feelings, messed with their mind, and are quite frankly mean.

I'm not a hard core gamer but I do enjoy playing Ghost Recon, and Halo.

I like people that are intellectually stimulating. People that are willing to laugh at your jokes even if they might not make since. People that can be real and honest with you even if it incriminates them, or upsets you. People that are not afraid to speak their minds, and that are willing to listen to what you have to say when you reply. People that are able to see past your opinions, thoughts, or feelings, and like you for who you are, regardless. People that are open minded and un-judgmental about who you are, what you’ve done or are doing, I have a quote that I like… don’t knock it till you try it, another one is, treat others as you expect to be treated. Communication and compromise is the key to any long term relationship. I also enjoy talking about any topic, and at times I like to play devil advocate. I like to talk about touchy subjects that might be considered controversial, such as sex, politics, and religion. These are the most important characteristics that I like in people, but am not limiting myself too.

I only speak (or write) about things that I know are true and I'm hardly ever proven wrong. I can back up everything I say with facts or by experience. I will not waste my breath or time talking about a subject I know little or nothing about. I like a good debate as most people do, and will sometime encourage people to prove their facts, However, I will not entertain someone that is quite simply put, AN IDIOT. People that talk rhetoric, twist what they hear into something that it's not only p*sses me off, this attitude is the characteristics of an alcoholic. My father was an Alcoholic and very good at twisting peoples words to meet his need or to get his point across. That is something that I can not tolerate and will ignore. So should you and I ever be having a debate and I tell you that your wasting my time, or that I will remain quiet about something, is not an admission of not knowing the truth, it is a polite way of telling you that... your an idiot.... and/or I wish to remain friends.

I am willing to learn new things or be proven wrong as long as you can back up what your saying with facts. If I ever tell you that I stand corrected, then you have proven me wrong...It doesn't happen often but I'm not afraid to admit when it does.

So far this year I have had some pretty good debates about Politics, and smoking, with geek members and others... I still have yet to have been proven wrong.

I have been reported to admin, for being to honest, and blunt, it's not the first time I've offended someone, wont be the last. Although, I seem to be able to prove with out a dout when I do get in trouble that I was right, which of course, enables me to continue my memberships with groups and clubs.

As far as Events, I don't really have any special events that I can think of.

For hobbies.... I like to tinker, make things easier, reorganize things, build stuff, re-wire stuff, plumbing work, car work, there really isn't much I can't do, just need to find the time and/or money.

If you'd like to know anything else about me you can always ask... I'm pretty open, and very honest.
Has anyone checked out Chris P. suggestion of using www.MYBLOOP.com as an Unlimited Bandwidth, and Unlimited Storage Space For Free? There is a similar blog site like this one however I'm only going to put a link on here to my files over on Mybloop. As I don't see the need to have my profile everywhere. I'm going to start working on my files over there to share them with you. Oh and thats the other thing... you can save them to share them or keep them private or password protected. So I'm off to work on my files, keep check back as I will update them from time to time. And if you need to know what a file is shoot me an email and I'll let you know. MyBloop files are at www.mybloop.com/Morphyous I can also get reached by:
Instant Message;
Yahoo - triaxle_man
Skype - eric.lapointe207
ICQ - 196-297-955
AIM - Morphyous2051
MSN - rush2@hotmail.com

FYI - My pref. of using the IM programs are listed in the correct order, if you don't see me on Yahoo...you wont see me on any of the other ones. If your looking for me on the others and don't see me... chances are I'm only using yahoo, until I know someone is looking for me on the other programs.

FYI - If you send e-mail to any of those ID's I probably will NOT get it. I hardly ever check them, and when I do I usually just... select all, delete.

FYI - Once we get to know each other, I will share one of my e-mail addresses that I do read what comes in. Not going to list it here.

And you should be able to chat with me through the above add-on.

THIS IS AN E-MAIL MOST HAVE SEEN BUT IS SO TRUE THAT I'M POSTING IT HERE.

IMMIGRANTS, NON-AMERICANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of
this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on NY City, and the Pentagon, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of all Americans.

This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.

We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!

Either you are American Citizen or you are a Citizen of some other Nation. I do not recall seeing anywhere that you can be a citizen of two Nations at the same time. There may be somewhere in this world that you came from, but as soon as you became a citizen of this Nation, you are no longer a citizen of your original country. This is not up for debate. You don't want to give up your citizenship of your own country?... Then stay there.

If you are black (and I'm not racist), and you have your American Citizenship, Then you ARE AMERICAN. If you bring with you and live by your African Culture, that's up to you... However you are still just an American. To say you were a African or Black American is quite simply just not a true statement... You are either an American or you are not. We don't care what color your skin is. If your from Africa, GREAT, tell us about what it's like in your Country. DO NOT make My Country into your country...by that I mean... Our Country already has it's Culture, Heritage, History, etc... want to be apart of that?...FINE... This is still America. I used the term "African American" as an example... this goes for all those that are confused about your Citizenship, no matter where you come from.

Most Americans believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'

We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.

This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great American freedom, THE RIGHT TO LEAVE!

If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country and everything it stands for, that YOU accepted.

Maybe if we circulate this among ourselves, WE will find the courage to start speaking and voicing the same truths.

TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED the 1930's, 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's!!

We survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant.

They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes.

Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-based paints.

We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking.

As infants & children, we woul… Continue

Eric, I didn't know that you were not working. The last you told me, you were still driving a truck. I am so sorry that you and your family has had to cope with this. Life is tough enough as it is without being out of work.

I suppose you have tracked down anything that you can do. In the mean time, use some of the benefits that others are always so eager to use. It will not kill ya. Just do what you have to until you find something.

If you have only been on unemployment for six months, you should get an extension for another six months. I am nearly sure of it. Maybe you can pick up something on the side to supplement that.

There is a guy who lives close to me who is up early every morning to mow lawns. His son told me that he makes a killing every summer. Tax free. Heck, if I was a guy and even with me being a woman, I would do that in a heart beat to make money. In fact, I think it is a great business. One guy who does my neighbors yard charges her 150 a month year around.

I think about y'all and wonder how things are. I will keep yáll in my heart and thoughts. Just know that someone is thinking about you and your family. Hugs Greg.

Hey Eric...

Glad to hear from you. Thanks for the update! :)

That is great that you are helping your friend out. He seems to really have needed a lesson on everything! haha Teaching someone to use a computer is easy when they pay attention and have a good memory. :)

The move went well...thanks for asking. I'm just on spring break now...trying to unpack and organize and get rid of stuff (repeat the cycle like a zillion times). Moving really feels like the never ending process. I'll be glad once it's all done and I can just like "live" here instead of moving from project to project.

I just updated my blog about my summer plans and school so that might give you more insight on what is new with me.

Good luck on the job hunt. I'm sure something will come up soon. Stay positive and stay in touch! :)

Hi Eric. If you like to cook and would like to learn a few tricks from someone in here who has started a group for cooks on all levels, let me know. I will send you an invite.

Hey, we all love to eat and learning a few things is always good.

So, how are you and the family doing? I am hoping that all is great.
