What kind of geek are you?: Computer hardware =)

Why do you consider yourself a geek?: I like computers.

How did you find out about our Geek community?: Live.pirillo.com && youtube

What are your "geeky equipment" specs?: Computer- Macbook Pro - 2.4 ghz - 2 mb DDR3 ram - nvidia 9600 gt
250 gigs HDD.

My other computer is super ghetto it doesnt have a case so its a bunch of stuff stacked up and it is good for gaming**

**UPDATE i have taken the time to use a hacksaw and cut right sized holes in one of those k'nex boxes so i can carry it to and fro my house.

What do you want to be when you grow up?: A therapist and tinker with computers in my spare time.

What makes you laugh?: Lots of stuff, wit

What is the thing in life you treasure most?: My friends and a sense of community.

What's the geekiest thing you've ever done?: Gone through the trouble of changing all my keyboards to Dvorak. Also going around fixing peoples computers for free and service + teaching others about Linux and the benefits to using it over OS X and Windows.

What do you do to entertain yourself?: IDK my BFF jill?

Hey! I thought I'd make a blog post because I'm in art class at my school and I had to draw anything. It took me for ever to figure out what to draw and it didn't turn out that great =/. Any one else lack the ability for art or drawing? Or maybe suggestions?

My Dock - Revamped -

This is entry number 2 of My Dock.

Todays focus is: Shiira - My default internet browser.
Out of everything I tried, and trust me I tried everything but command line broswers and this was the fastest. It doesnt have quite as much plug-ins but it has a lot and I don't use plug-ins so I didnt care but you may. One thing is that is mac only, only other thing that compared was minefield and Chrome but chrome is windows only (for now) and I would use that for windows. I prefur Shiira to chrome.

My Dock -Explained-

I update my dock a lot and a big thing to do for mac users to to do stuff basically pointing out whats in my dock, so on that note everyday I will go over one thing in my dock and say stuff like why,where,when, and how. Todays Dock Topic: Finder, If your a mac user then theres no point in explaining but for you windows people out there think of Finder as the explorer equivient, my linux brothers out there its like whatever desktop enviroment your useing.

Beginning a new path

Well today I was pretty tired from yesterday and decided i would learn some programming languages, I decided I would start with Assembly. I know it can be coded in like notepad an stuff, but it there any like programs out there. Because I have an .asi file (assembly include file) and upon opening it in notepad its a bunch of strange characters. Yeah thats about all I have from today, pretty slow.
