It also could be a cooling problem. Sometimes it doesn't have a problem idling in the bios and then when it goes about booting up, its a huge load on the machine. Live CDs are usually pretty slow to access the data that'd be creating most of that ...
How does it go if you pull out the RAM and put it back in, or use differant RAM if you have it?
Also, how does it go if you boot using a Linux live CD?
Its easier to list which songs I don't still like on Ride The Lightning, Kill Em All, Master Of Puppets, Garage Days Revisited, and And Justice for all... and then list which songs I do like from anything realeased after And Justice for All.
It'd...
That's accurate on my Apple hardware (what's the better way to refer to "Apple hardware" when they don't make it?), is that there was a lag (and probably still is) between the release and software updates outside of Apple. I did have some annoyanc...
I check my email first thing when I first get on the computer. I sometimes don't look at facebook for weeks and have more than once had someone message me there but didn't know until days later. Its their fault for using facebook like that though....
You don't generally know who has a gun in the US though, unless you ask people. I was sitting with some friends once, and learned that one of them carried a gun when another one asked to see it. The guy replied "If you ever see my gun, it will be ...

The Fifth Element gets an honorable mention for a movie from me, since not everyone realizes that you have to watch it 5 times before the overall cool of the project really sets in and hits you.
I don't have favorite books anymore. Used to when I was a kid, same with music... all I can say there is that hip hop escapes me and its pretty rare that its not annoying.
My biggest hobby has been sitting behind computers and learning new things. When I was a kid I dreamed of working as a programmer when I had an NES. I got involved with drugs and that ship had sailed by the time I got through it so most of what I've ended up learning are superficial things without any potential for profit, for example I never learned HTML but I script bash as well as the next guy... better than most I guess.
I haven't liked console games for some time, since around the end of the NES era and going into the Sega era... until the Wii came along which I do like though don't own one yet.

I don't know if the guy is really a nut or not as a person, but I do feel he isn't credited enough, so he deserves the mention I just made.
