yeah, that was so lucky. I couldn't have possibly gone without my computer for another few days :)

Allright guys... problem solved. I had randomly ordered a new motherboard form newegg like a few days before my problem and it just got here today. I swapped it into my rig and now everything works. So apperantly I had a bad motherboard on my hand...

Are you running Windows Vista on an Nforce motherboard with an AMD processor with an Nvidia Video card? If so then it sounds like it went into power standby mode and will not wake up. If that is the case, then turn off any power savings mode that ...
Does your motherboard have onboard graphics chipset? If so, try connecting your monitor through that.
After rebooting, if you see the BIOS & POST then you at least know something is working. Try to go into Safe Mode.
