Thanks guys. I went with FBackup. It isn't the simplest to use, but I was able to set it up fine enough. The only problem I had with it was that on Vista, my Time Capsule drive didn't show up in the destination view.

FBackup - http://www.fbackup.com/ - does scheduled backups to a network drive so it will work.

Microsoft has a FREE TOOL called Sync TOY Here's the overview for it: SyncToy can help you synchronize, copy, backup and maintain folders of files on your computers. SyncToy is a PowerToy, available as a free download, built by Microsoft Corporati…

Well, I do know of several free solutions for your problem, but I am not sure if it makes scheduled backups. I believe one of the programs does automatically backup to a specified location. Here are those programs: GFI Backup FBackup 4.3 AceBackup

I was thinking more like free. If there really isn't any good solution for free I suppose I could buy something but I don't need anything that fancy.

For Windows? Well, it depends on how much you can afford. I would suggest Paragon System Backup 2010. Pretty good for what you pay for. It costs $30, and it works quickly and efficiently. Several friends of mine use it, and it has proven to be what…

What is the best Windows backup utility? I need something that will work on XP/Vista/7 and will backup a few folders every day or so to a network drive.

Wouldn't surprise me. I haven't used it in years. It took a beating though when I was using it.

My car has two lighter jacks One has 12 volts present all the time, the other is switched by the ignition switch. You might want to look around your car, Quite often the second or third lighter jacks aren't in a real obvious place.

I see. There must be a semi-short in the Sana, or the battery itself is partially shorted, which is actually pretty common.
December 3
It's the Sansa that dies. Not plugged into any charger it dies after a day.
December 3
Charger must be defective. If you can do a current draw check, you can find out. Anything more then a half amp steady is too much.

The Sansa player I am trying to charge runs out of battery after one day. That's not playing anything. I often go a day or two without driving anywhere.

Once the battery is charged, it should trip out from pulling anymore power from the cig lighter. However, there is always danger of a malfunction.

My phone charger does the same thing. I have not yet found one that turns off when the car does. Usually i just unplug it if i am going to be leaving my car for a long period of time.

If you can't afford it, don't buy it. There are people in the car industry that make lots of money (or at least there use to be). Applying your logic, it would be ok to go down to the nearest dealer and steal a brand new car since they will still m…

Lunarpages Review

I have been using Lunarpages for over a year now and I really love it. I first started using it for work, and then for my personal sites like this one. I have really enjoyed it and will definitely be using it for a long time to come. It is what I recommend to anyone that dare ask my opinion.

Early iPhone App Sales

It has been about a month now since Bubble Burster was released to the App Store and early sales are not promising. Before I launched Bubble Burster, I did a lot of research into marketing and sales of iPhone Apps and I found very little information. Most of what is available in terms of sales numbers is from big companies with apps in the top 100, and almost no data from your average app developer.

The hard truth is that in it's fi… Continue
