When I was in the U.S. Navy for a few years I was with the Operation Deep Freeze Command and I lived in Christchurch, New Zealand for 5 months. Three & a half months the first year and two months the second year. I loved it there.
I used to have a purple colored sheep skin throw rug that I purchased when I was there but it was stolen from me at my next duty station.
I have very fond memories of New Zealand. The ladies were beautiful also!!!
