Why do you consider yourself a geek?
I love techy anything and everything, but mostly computers!.... And, many of my friends call me "tech man" or TechManDan. With a shop downstairs full of computers and related hardware. I also fix a lot of other peoples computers.

Post home made videos on youtube and Metacafe'. Built countless computers, made a mechanical Cricket, home networked and WIFI'd eight home computers and laptops, home made WIFI antennas, also built too many electronic gadgets to count....
What do you do to entertain yourself?
Geek Stuff, like soldering, repairing, rejuvenating, building, reconstructing etc., some computer games, web surfing...
Favorite music, movies, books, shows, artists, games, people, events, hobbies, etc.?
Techno/dance/trance, ambience, oldies, easy listening, alternative, classical, classical rock, new age....
Movies = The Matrix Series, Star Wars series, Star Trek series, Independence Day, War of the Worlds, most any good Sci-Fi.
Games = Half-Life 2 entire series + mods, Fallout3, Dead Space....

Games and Frame Rates

So, I'm no heavy duty gamer by any stretch, but I do love my HalfLife 2 series. Some things I have noticed in reading gamer forums everybody is frame rate hungry. I got to puzzling about this, because when I got my new graphics card, the GeForce 9800 GT, my frame rates went crazy, like 120 to 150 FPS constantly. I just saw around here about a week or so ago somebody had a similar problem with an update. I think they restored to before the update using time Machine or something. It might have been member 'Johannes S', but I don't remember for sure.

My parents could really use something that's not running on 2.2Ghz 0.13UM single core processor...and 512 trash ram with like god knows for video.

what you think, this thing worth it? What can u say about the Dual Xeon's i'm confused i think that's a Dual-core Xeon 3.2ghz??? 65NM????Idk what manufacturing process the processor's are.

yeah haha absolutely true.
But hell i've seen some eye candy Windows-based computer's myself.
i would throw windows 7 on a Mac, it would look nice, but mind u the hardware requirements for a windows are grap all, and the graphics on those mac's sure will make windows look gorgeous and piss some mac boys right off, how silly..my nubs your master Lord Steve Jobs the Turd has allowed for windows operating system to run on your precious pieces of bubble gum.
