- I would call a Geek toy, a gadget of sorts. For me, it is my original Iphone. i use it throughout my day every day of the week pretty much, and of all my gadgets it certainly gets the most use. :)

- I wish i could answer Q2 , but have none for it. As for Q1, there is of course apple care, assuming you do not void the warrantee. Most Macs come with a limited 1 year apple care warrantee, they like any other pc maker have different levels and number of years of warrantee.
One thing I have noticed though in apple stores. i have seen them actually take laptops that were in disrepair and out of warrantee and fix them for free. now i am sure it does not happen everywhere, but Apple understands that a little free work makes for great word of mouth, and customer service is what they do bar none the best. - Yes, win7 is free as a download and u get a regkey too, and as i said its good for a year. I've used it for a few months already because I'm a msdn subscriber (means all microsoft softwares i get free) so i really dont complain about having to pay for any and then not like. well, havent run into 1 OS from microsoft i havent liked. IT only gets better. I havent had a problem on my laptop and it has accepted all my softwares with no problems. but i did come across 1, i purchased a new kensington mouse and it was as slow as molasses. due to lack of drivers i guess. but u know if a laptop is all u have and ur not that pc savy i dont recommend it. cause if you have problems u risk loosing everything. oh, about the questions dont worry ask me i'm here to help in any way i can if i have an answer i'll tell u what i know. Just give me sometime. I get very busy sometimes and dont have pc time. I'm a geek but i have a life too. I wish i could live on my pc, but when life calls i have to answer. Well see ya later.
