MacBook Pro 13" - My Thoughts

As seen on DLB1752.TV

I had recently purchased the (improved) White MacBook to replace and older MacBook Pro I had been using. I wanted something smaller, and I had been having some hardware issues with my MacBook Pro. Lesson learned, I should have waited! Back in April I did not want to purchase the (then) new aluminum MacBooks due to lack of firewire, and I was not impressed with the specs. When Apple announced the 13" MacBook Pro at WWDC, I knew that was fo… Continue

BlackBerry Storm Tips

I have been using BlackBerry for almost three years now, along side, and sometimes in place of my iPhone. I have always been impressed with their message management and prompt e-mail delivery. The one popular BlackBerry I had never tested was Verizon’s BlackBerry Storm. I had heard the “stories”, but wanted to try it for myself. I was getting bored with my iPhone 3G and wanted a phone with better e-mail a… Continue

Where is the Slingbox iPhone application?

As seen on DLB1752.TV

I am a big fan of the Slingbox, a device that allows you to watch your home television on your computer anywhere you have an Internet connection. Slingbox owners have been waiting for an iPhone application, but have been left hung out to dry. The dispute is over who is to blame: Apple or AT&T?

On a recent episode of Bwana's podcastContinue

Disingenuous people abusing social media?

The subject of disingenuous people using social media has been on my mind for several weeks. A good example of this is politicians on Twitter. Some political candidates running for office will “tweet up a storm” during the election, sing the praises of social media, then the minute they are elected you never see another tweet from them.

Recently, I was passionately behind a politician (not Obama) that was running for a non-federal office. I supported him first and foremost because I believed in… Continue

Hi David. I just wanted to thank you for posting to my blog on fire arm safety.

I grew up around guns and have total respect for them. Now, I only own my grand father's Remington rifle with a scope. It has been in a case for a long time and I need to get it out and give it a good going over and clean it and then take it out for some target practice.

Cool on the historical building. I am all for keeping things like they were

I am an interior designer so, I notice a lot of things when I look at a photo.

Just didn't know for sure but thought how great it was if they were sky lights.

Thanks for saying hi. I miss some people around here but I never mean to.
