I completely agree. There's one problem with that for me though, I have a full subscription of my anti-virus program left, and I'm unsure If I will be able to retrieve the subscription again if I do a complete reinstall. I'm going to mess with the p…

Loading win7, isn't installing, you just load from the dvd the necessary files for an installation, even when you press the install button you'll get the change to recreate your partitions, without installing anything from Win7 (nothing's is lost ti…

I believe it would be smarter to actually delete everything on your Hard Drive and do a fresh install. Your computer will run noticeably faster and won't be as cluttered. Only upload the data you ABSOLUTELY NEED from your USB Hard Drive or w/e you b…

Mine was FireFox, until I recently deleted all of my bookmarks by accident, which made me pretty angry. lol. I tried to restore my system to a later date, but that had no effect.

I would be pretty upset as well. I would be even more upset if I purchased an iMac, seeing that they can go up to 27'' now, with quad core processors! I don't have a Mac myself, but I'm pretty sure it will be the next computer I purchase. I'm glad…

I've heard some depressing things about that. I don't even thing MW2 will have dedicated online multiplayer servers for individuals wishing to play on their PCs, let alone Macs. I just took a spin to Infinityward.com, the individuals behind the Mod…

I'm pretty excited about this update. I think it's great to have such a powerhouse work machine, but quad core technology has been out for a while now. I wish Apple developed computers with these processors a while ago, but I'm still happy. Core 2 t…

I'm a new 'geek', and would like to meet some more 'geeks' here in this community.

I just joined this amazing site, and am wanting to meet some people, but I don't know what's really going on.

So, who's out there? :p

Hi Chrisman, sorry for the late reply, i've been very busy lately. I am an Electrical and Electronic engineer but have specialised in Control and Systems engineering.

To give you an idea, on an aeroplane, the the system that controls the auto pilot and provides the necessary adjustment and course corrections from actual flight path and the flight plan.
I just read your bio, my father was a mechanical engineer too and my inspiration. I'm currently considering PHD and am in talks with universities. Good luck with your studies and one solid advice i will give you is stay on top of your Mathematics!

I thought it might be Iowa State but I wasn't sure. Since I am a big SEC football fan, I know all of the schools down south and a lot in other places since Alabama and Auburn play out of their conference sometimes.

Good luck making friends on here. There are some great people in this site. I have been here since about last Oct or Nov and I can't stay away...I don't even try. :)
