After doing a clean install, head over to www.medibuntu.org Follow the directions to add the repository for your distribution, then add the GPG key. Finally, in the terminal, type: sudo aptitude install ubuntu-restricted-extras

I like the idea of being able to "blurt" out whatever comes to mind, or a pic of something that I find amusing. I had a blog of my own on Blogger once. I found that I didn't enjoy it as much as I do visiting other blogs and commenting.
